With the market in such a negative mood it wouldn't surprise me if its SP went down into the $12's. But if ANZ maintains the current div @ 1.36 p/a, the annual ROI is around 10% fully franked.
That's like getting 13% in a fixed term account. Maybe instead of putting your money in the bank, buy shares in the bank instead.
I'm going to have a look at the other banks too. I agree with another poster today, don't try to pick the bottom. If a stock is a good buy, its a good buy.
IMHO it looks very juicy :P
