I would say it is both a Muslim and socio-economic issue , a large proportion of Muslims are both poor and live in overcrowded conditions which would make virus transmission far harder to control .
Many also do not understand English and even their own written language die to high rates of illiteracy partly a result also of a low average IQ level for some sub minorities , so difficult for them to understand news related to the CCP virus .
Similar problem happening with minorities and disadvantaged people all over the world currently
Its not just a Muslim issue , there are Christian minorities that also are experiencing a high rate of infections , ie South Sudanese.
