I’ve done a bit of work on the base, discovered that the little bit of wood rot is in fact a bit bigger than anticipated but the base is sitting reasonably flat. Think I will need to try my hand at epoxy resin, have a friend who is currently working on a slab of jarrah (table top size) filling in holes/cracks so I’m going to pick his brains sometime soon before I have a dip at the folly.
