Ummm ..... I have no idea what your post was about in either a good or bad way - I am going to assume a good way though. (I just put up the goat thing as a "scapegoat", following on from your earlier).
I have never done the epoxy thing but I know it is successful - mate uses f/glass stuff (sans matt) and has good results with decorative fills (not sure of structural integrity though if used as a load point).
