I still have some work to do on the Cu and a few bottomless pits in the base require more epoxy.
I stripped down a meter of Extin lead and cut it as fine as I could with tin snips and sprinkled it over the foot.
I had accidentally dropped a few on the wet resin as I have crammed a heap of Cu offcuts in the hole to save on epoxy, easier to dust the foot than try and pick the spillage out
I had thought of trying for the super smooth finish but decided to go for a textured finish.
Lots of lumps and bumps as I used a slither of Sheoak to drizzle and spread the resin.
Currently heading back to port and if anyone is interested?
I’ll try and post a pick of the foot with it’s copper dusting in a couple of hours.
