Murray (a tinkerer with many more years experience than me) who had some nice pieces in my section gave me a run down on the winner and the chatter on opening night Friday, said that the big monstrosity with the boomerang foot and the Cu Bonsai Tree were the one’s of mine that seemed to get the most attention (of my entries).
Only positive feedback from friends and acquaintances and a good atmosphere when I went up at lunchtime. The car show, burnout pad, Moto X stunt riders and entertainment on the town oval next to the Hall was fun too. Okay, sounds like an odd mix but it works and it’s a good weekend. We even had Tractor Drag Races on the main road, Servo to the Country Club entrance in the afternoon. That was a highlight
