Keycorp Limited today announced a profit of $1.1 million for the half year ending 31 December 2002, resulting from a $23 million turnaround in the business operations at the EBITDA level.
Revenue for the six-month period was $52.3 million, compared with the restated revenue of the corresponding period of $45.8 million.
EBITDA from operations resulted in a profit of $11.7 million, compared to a loss in the previous corresponding period of $11.7 million.
Keycorp Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Thompson said, "We are pleased to report a profit for the six months. This result is a clear indication that the extensive restructuring program we implemented last year has been successful. Revenues in Access Devices increased steadily and we are on the path to reporting, as promised, a profitable result for the full year."
