careful about drilling across borders. Apparently the Kuwaitis drilled slant wells across the border into the Rumailah field in Iraq, and this was said to be one of the reasons for the first Gulf War. Whether it is true or not is questionable, the field is located 30 km from the border. However, sometimes rumor is more important than facts, so be careful about what you wish forDon't think a war between Senegal and Gambia over oil resources would benefit anyone, least alone FAR.
