I too have asked similar questions in the past. Given the sensitivity of instrumentation, I don't believe 25km would be a stretch through a fluid, but obviously you would need to be supremely confident that you were testing the same series of sands so as not to disappoint? I seem to recall the last tests were over 5-6 km and they were confirmed instantaneously.
As the wise one suggests, it would probably be testing better left for Soloo if the listening transducers are still present and operational in those sands.
