my problem with this assertion is the absence of/ poorly handled generational succession between baby boomers and gen X. I think this will bear many issues in time to come, particularly given the affect of the GFC on baby boomers superannuation, their need to continue working, the rise of gen y 'the super consumer generation' and predicament that this places on gen X who is looking for a foothold in raising gen z.
Sorry, I'm bit philosophical in these challenging times.
