short reporting makes for some fascinating reading
3.75% of MFG's stock on the 21/12/2021 is short
maybe not so good, but far from terrible
the big one's to avoid are the travel stocks and the Aussie retail apps IMO. about 10% of their stock are short.
Just out of interest does anybody know exactly when a short position is recorded by ASIC?
like is it recorded by ASIC at the time of lending from an institution or when the stock is actually sold on market?
