ASX securities lending reports (the borrowed and lent files) are for gross and net borrows/loans - they don't reconcile with each other because the list of reportable entities is not complete. ASIC short position reports are required from anyone (more or less) that is obliged to return stock whether they have shorted or on-lent. ASIC is t+4.
