Thank you Peppie. This is remarkable stuff, potentially revolutionary if it makes titanium affordable for more uses. (Fancy building a house with a titanium frame?? . Actually it's revolutionary anyway if it can replace current supplies at much lower cost.
Interesting point re supporting manufacturing in the West. Although I wonder if China's competitive advantages wouldn't still hold some sway. But I realise that it's often the input costs that hold back manufacturing in the West - reduce the titanium cost and quite possible China's labour advantages become balanced or maybe outweight by freight savings at point of use.

On a side note, that Metalysis logo reminds me of BHP Billiton's - not identical of course but similar style. Who influenced who?
