That's rubbish Stevo . Of course I would take responsibility if unexpected issues came up . For example , I have stated that religious groups should still be able to follow their beliefs e.g. No ssm if it is against that church's teachings .
We are not Canada . The bill has not even been presented to parliment . I would like to think that we can use the experience of other countries to design our legislation accordingly .
New Zealand doesn't seem to be complaining . Nor many other countries . Wonder why ?
However , if you don't embrace change you can't move forward . All you can do is deal with issues as they come up .
Imagine all the hand wringing when homosexual acts were decriminalised ? When women got the vote etc .
