A very busy year
Some have tried to construct a 33m box and then discussed a perceived inability to do much with those funds. Here are the actual things achieved, starting with $16m and finishing with $33m or thereabouts, now.
- Completed the PBT2 IMAGINE trial analysis by March
-Were already into running the IMAGINE extension trial with dosing completed by December.
-Conducted a sub analysis on IMAGINE, and presented at the Copenhagen AAIC showing clear target engagement over high plaque subgroup p=.035
-They ran at least 3 phase1 trials investigating various effects of PBT2 .
-They published the Reach2HD trial results and analysis.
-Received Orphan drug designation for PBT2 in HD.
-Published PBT2 reverses memory defecits in ageing mice and promotes neuron growth in “A Novel Approach To Rapidly Prevent Age-Related Cognitive Decline”
- PBT434 has been progressed through the Translational Biologyprogram to identify prospective utility in a number of Atypical Parkinsonian orphan indications includingMultiple System Atrophy, Corticobasal Degeneration and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
-In testing at Leeds uni PBT434 reversed the disease in 3 different Parkinson's animal models.
-They progressed PBT434 through final toxicity testing, ready for man trials.
-GMP manufacturing process developed for PBT434.
-New candidate MPACs have been identified in the chemical discovery stage of the research program and will be advanced to the Translational Biology program in the coming year.
-They worked on the Reach2HD presentation to the FDA.
-Continue IP strategy

Cash at 2014 annual report $37M Burn for year 13,329,239
Cash at 2013 annual reoprt $16m Burn $7.78m with two trials running.

  Wonder what all that would have cost if Roche or PFE accomplished all that in one year. Prana has always been able to accomplish a lot on shoe string budget. And whoever put in that 5.6M knows that.
