Long term shareholders, new shareholders? The entitlement states...

"The Entitlement Issue is available to Coretrack Shareholders and other Eligible Participants registered on the record date of 21 October 2010 (Record Date) and who reside in Australia or New Zealand."

Another slap in the face. The benefit (?) is for owners on the 21st! Plenty of time to watch the sp until then. It seems that the mgmt wasn't able to get corporate investors. I'm sure if they could have, they would have. From my experience, there is no such thing as "being nice to current or loyal shareholders" (I hope you don't own Telstra shares).

Therefore the mgmt tries to get the money from current shareholders. Even worse, ANYONE is allowed to get in at 15c because the record date is in the future even with a 4 day settlement. Milk the cow and sell it to the butcher.

    ???

Unless the mgmt can come up with a VERY good selling point and/or explanation.... the money spent for the fund raising will be an additional nail in the coffin. I wonder how the CFO feels like.
