    Sorry to hear about your experience. Yes it should be used cautiously in the young and old as they are more susceptible to these side effects. It should always be emphasised that they are given with food and they are encouraged to drink well and stay hydrated. It does create a dilemma when you know the animal is in pain, but are limited with ways to treat it. In the past, there has always been a negative stigma around cannabis being known as a narcotic drug, but research lately has shown that cannabis is an extremely useful pain reliever.

    The issue at the moment is that there are no CBD/THC pharmaceuticals that are approved for use in animals. Even if it is widely known that it is a beneficial compound, veterinarians aren't able to grab some off the street and give it to their patients as it is not regulated to be safe for animal use. CP1 is making progress to change that reality, and I believe the first to do so in the industry.
