My sister dumped her husband but, ironically, has spent the three years since on and off minor anti-depressants. Actually, she is abusing them rather than needs them greatly.

There is an 'emptiness' and 'sadness' in her life she cannot accommodate, deal with & reconcile.

We made some steps forward when she stayed with me last year for a week but the time was too short.

Her husband was terrible with the kids plus she never really loved him. He was part of her rebound from a heartbreaking relationship.

But since the separation, her ex-husband's life has improved alot because in the separation he realised how much he loves his children.

His relationship now with his children is excellent. They actually look forward to staying with him whereas in marriage it was a disaster. They hated him because he was so negative.

Personally, both sides get burned.

When women reactively trash a man, it is best not to view them as having power.

They have no power. They are just as powerless as the trashed man.

Both are suffering, both are struggling.
