Yes,Matt at what stage will the banks come knocking.At the end of the day,they just want to recoup their money.The trouble is if there's negative equity,the home owner gets left with no house and a debt to the bank.Your talking about people who have borrowed virtually the whole lot to buy an asset,but the value of the asset has dropped.Not a good situation is it?I noticed a few houses around my area,who after months of trying to sell,have removed their for sale signs.What ,do they think they'll get more in a years time?
