My thoughts are that perhaps Prof. Abeyratne had this in mind when he developed the program. He is one person who can contribute ideas as to this app's global usage. I truly trust that this tech will stay in our hands, but I am also a realist and must agree with you that Gates will eventually get it into his control and incorporate the technology for his donation to 3rd world medicine and for sale to 1st world.

I also read on another thread that some doubt it's ability to perform in remote locality. My theory is that just as you would have a machine in an ambulance or dr surgery read your heart beats via an ECG, so will you be able to have a Dr read your cough. Dr's are trained to read ECG tapes, so why not ResApp tape? It could be called a "RAP" tape reading!

Thats a "rap" from me.
