According to the Jan 16-22 edition of the BRW the water "super-heats to an estimated 200 degrees celcius 4k down then rises back to surface and is used to boil an organic liquid to produce vapour that is passed through a turbine to produce electricity".
See there is no water lost through steam because it remains in closed loop circuit. After heating the organic liquid it simply gets pumped back down and reheated to repeat the process again.
