The two periods may not be comparable.
Although an expansion in the monetary base may be a necessary condition for hyperinflation, it may not be a necessary and sufficient condition.
The Germany of the Weimar Republic was faced with economic, social and political breakdown.
A better analogy if Japan after the 1980's.
To paraphrase SCK's words:
"If you want to see a similar period in history, regarding QE......
research Japanese deflation after 1989......"
That's probably a much better analogy than Germany in the 1920's.
