    liquidity is a requirement. What I am saying is that no or slow trading for a period is not the lack of liquidity that the rule refers to.

    what that rule means is that a company cannot arrange its shares so that it becomes hard for anyone to buy or sell those shares.

    obvious if there is low trading in a share we talk about it being an illiquid share and it is hard to buy and sell, but it doesn’t mean it breaks that rule or that the ASX is going to pounce on it and delist it. Maybe if there is no trading for an extended period but I suspect by then the company won’t want to pay listing fees and will ask to be delisted.

    Trading is subdued at the moment - probably everyone wants to see what results/guidance is like in August. At the end of May 3 million shares were traded and beginning of May in a one week period 20 million shares. Still small % given SOI, but hardly illiquid.
