a world without religion

I do not mean to offend anyone you can believe what you want, be it christian muslim, christian, buddhist, fairies etc but i am an atheist and find world events are just comical & scary that archaic religions may get a hold on the world

So religious people explain to me (its a serious question not meant to offend, your offended easily) why religion has any place today & why it should exist, personally the worst things in the world are tied to religions be it Muslims or the right wing USA Christians or historical

let the debate begin unless debate is moderated.

Personally i dream of a Utopian society with out religion it may be the next stage of evolution for the species.
there would be no tax benefits for any religious organisations or indoctrination of the weak minded

No large property/investment holdings or company dealings that exist under private company australian law for the head of religious organisations eg hillsong

If you are an aetheist you have been screwed my business ideas e.g coffee club gloria jeans try starting a business like that without the religious tax benefits which are owned by hillsong or any other religious organization and under the radar of ASIC. If anyone wants to bar up check the wgaes/expenses of the hillsong founding family, how does a 20 yr old take over marketing etc etc with no experience of a multimillion empire

    Criticism of finances

Various critiques are levelled at Hillsong in regard to its finances, especially its use of government grants when it reportedly made $40 million in 2004.[52] Hillsong paid staff members with money given as a government grant for the assistance of the Riverstone Aboriginal community.[53] Hillsong responded by claiming "gross inaccuracies" in the report submitted to Parliament, but did not deny that some of the grant had been used to pay Hillsong staff members.[54]

I'm an aetheist i want a 40 million grant from the government to share with those that need it & i can gurantee the money will not go into my pocket
