I don't think the world will ever be without "religion". Some new religions (new form of worship)will replace the old religions (old form of worship, unless we all become robot-like with no need for spirituality.

if the apocalypse happens (christian religion) i agree i will spruik star wars the young kids will love it

people can have spirituality without major religions my wife is a wiccan, i'm an aetheist but my morals are higher than any one in senior management of hillsong, (i.e i dont demand money from people who have less assets than me)
