As a general principle, unless it can be shown that Nkwe or Genorah or both acted unlawfully, then on what basis would their rights be stripped? If it is corruption within the DMR then that is no basis to strip the company of an asset which it has sunk a lot of investment into. A free for all would develop and mining rights in SA would be in question right across the board. I'm sure it is in everyone's best interests to clear this up in a fair and reasonable manner, and if Nkwe/Genorah have acted unlawfully, then so be it, we have backed the wrong horse. Quite simple really. Until then I believe it is highly speculative to think that any mining rights will be withdrawn or suspended for Garatau due to some supposed action by Anglo/ARM, who at the end of the day have only their own interests at heart anyway. I would like to see a suspension of all trading in NKP until all issues have been resolved, and if it takes a little time then so be it. After all, we are talking about their only real asset now.
