The fixing of the liquidity situation is precisely what is needed - to survive long enough to try and deal with the solvency issues.

My bullishness in equities is an acknowledgement that equities have such a small portiion of financials represented in them nowdays that it is hard to keep them down. (ASX is the exception). Low to high 100% within 3 years but maybe even withing 2 years (global equities not neccesarily ASX).

If it wasn't for Europe all we would be talking about today is ADP numbers in the US signalling takeoff next year in their economy.

I can't begin to explain the amount of uninvested cash around the world at the moment - not here in HC though! Most people here are running on overdrafts!
