Kalman is Hammers resource, yes.
Sumitomo is in JV with Hammer for a separate tenement. There are a few and I can’t recall all their names. (HMX tenements - be like trying to remember all the project areas A1M hold in the greater Eloise /Cloncurry holdings )
I just can’t work out why HMX moved so much unless there was major interest & position taking?
Plus the rumours of sale Chinese interests Northparkes?(Sumitomo also owns ) + now Qld Govt requires exploration and resources land to have work done on and money spent every few years - and Merlin is Chinese owned and nothing recently been occurring. Is SE of HMX land - west of Cloncurry.
If anyone were to develop Merlin, they perhaps should also own Kalman (or possibly vice versa) - Merlin is the more significant I gather.
Sumitomo have experience with Copper and molybdenum resource at Northparkes (Nsw) and are in JV separately with HMX already.

If you were going to be interested in Merlin, and already in a JV & spending money on Hammer land, and seriously therefore should build resources size by looking at Kalman in conjunction with Merlin .. what would you do?

Plus among all the companies- A1M including, S32 even & Rio and had been OZL- Sumitomo also been scouting for opportunities or partnerships more in Oz? ( I think- met their representative fellows at resources conference)

But I’ve no idea. Only that Kalman- would happen more if someone interested but especially whoever were to ultimately own Merlin.
Cloncurry copper resources really are a “mixed bag of lollies” (nearly no 2 are the same - the resources vary) as Glenn Little, MEP /DRM , said and wrote in his overview presentation of the Cloncurry region copper resources , compared esp to SA copper resources.
