A lot of the copper price fluctuations recently have been around speculation, stimulus impacts etc. while warehouse inventories have grown or remained stable.
I’m hoping we’ll soon be close to that tangible copper shortage, the crunch should be coming and when that happens it won’t be speculative, it will be inventories dropping and then we’ll see some real price movement to the upside on copper.
Reporting and forecasting is always so china-centric, there’s a whole world out there and everyone will need copper.
