Final burst of rain & storm activity now occurring - this time likely to deliver heavy rain to Cloncurry, and ‘Eloise’ area in these days now this week, in storm activity.
Not so much directly from exTC Diana from WA , as it finishes swiftly moving across Australia now. (into NNSW & areas of SE Qld finally quickly , before being gone off the coast of Australia to the east) But associated weather influences which tend to fire off storms & heavy rain in localised areas (?) , some significant, along with general rain with the actual passage of the ex tropical cyclone rain depression. ( Weather reporting not however a strong suit for me)
At least everyone won’t be short of water reserves.
But the greater Queensland major flooding events ongoing- truly devastating and utterly sad to see, for the areas and people and enormous loss of animals & property damage . Huge numbers of drowned kangaroos also so they don’t seem to have also been able to get away, just too great an area impacted and nowhere to go. Floods in Qld- over an area twice the size of Victoria now !
