It does seem unlikely finance would be caught up negotiating price or size. There is another variable in the mix.
If, as you suggest, a bigger plant is possible, then AC would need stronger proofs than a few high grade intersections.
The clue is in how many rigs are drilling and where.
The latest slides say 30,000m of drilling is planned in CY25. The majority would be on Jericho - still open along strike and at depth, with plenty of low risk resource definition drilling yet to be done.
