A2 milk powder in the market is still going strong but the only issue is that customers have bought a large amount in China before the tax came into place. So there is a slow down this week as large amounts of stock were sent to China so people can save money before tax hit. We are expecting the market to resume as normal in a weeks time when people begin to order again due to running down their stock. There are many channels into China. Not just via ecommerce. People don't understand the China market and that's why the CEO of blackmores is holding a meeting on 6th of May to inform everyone how these channels work. A2 is safe. Like the CEO said the yearly forecast has taken these regulations changes into account. However these changes are positive for the company because there is less competition in the market for formula. People should be pushing up the share price as this is a benefit for A2 rather than pushing it down. So uninformed that they believe these fund managers putting out false statements just to make a buck, idiots.
As always I will keep you guys upto date over the next couple of days on how everything is evolving at the distribution side. No need to worry just need to make sure long life milk makes the positive list for ecommerce. A2 will lobby this in they have the networks in China to do so.
Also when people talk about the grey market it's a dumb word made to downgrade resellers. Think about eBay. Do we call eBay users grey users. These resellers are like those in China. Like Amazon the are not illegal resellers that should be named and shamed for starting an online shop with Chinese citizens using their own platform or Wei chat channel. China wants our health products and this is a business run for them. Get informed and don't be stupid to believe the dumb things these fund mangers say.
I want to tell you guys something that came through to us. Chinese government yesterday asked their citizens why they don't want to buy local made baby formula. Nearly all replied back saying they just don't trust their own products. Tells you where the market is heading still
