He's a bloody scientist boffin. How many academics are you aware of that are successful financially. Sure there are a few , but most are more interested in the intellectual side rather than the financial side in my experience. This is not uncommon.

The whole issue around the science is particularly delicate especially in NZ, dairy being NZ's largest export. This is why the promotional material of a2 milk contains a lot of maybe's and could be's. The NZ food authority advises that all milk is good milk and have not updated that view despite good evidence recently to the contrary and you can understand why.

There is precious little a2 milk sold in NZ as Fonterra have a big hold on the market.

I have it on good authority that a large majority of farmers in NZ are now inseminating their herds with A2A2 bull semen only. Go figure.
