A2 milk Fonterra concerns

Update from nz. The banners for competitor a2 milk infant powder seem to have been taken down. However I have serious concerns regarding the joint fonterra venture.

in the last few months I noticed the sales of a2 fresh milk pick up but in the last couple of weeks I have not been able to find any a2 fresh milk on the shelves. When I asked the person working in the chiller section he informed me that Anchor is no longer making a2 milk in the 2 litre bottles. This makes no sense to me as 2 litres always sold out before 1 litre bottles and in fact the 1l bottles were often close to expiry and without a doubt these would have often been thrown out due to expiring before sale.

my concern is that this could be the start of bad news on the Fonterra front. Could Fonterra be backing away from the deal?

normally the charts dont lie and the charts are not pointing towards any negative news (actually the opposite). Also, if there was any issues with Fonterra, the company should have made an announcement. But even knowing this I dont have peace of mind.

what are others thoughts on this. Any other new zealanders notice lack of 2litre bottles? Am I simply misinformed?

could Fonterra be diverting milk from fresh bottles to other higher value products like cheese and cutting supply of fresh milk?
