Only babies consume A2M infant formula.

All of China's middle to upper income cohorts live in urbanised areas, cities.

Those middle to upper income cohorts produce very small number of babies. So small the number, that it is not enough to replenish the population numbers in the cities they are living in.

This means less potential customers for A2M year on year.

The only reason why the population numbers of cities in China are not declining is because of the movement of people into cities from the countrysides.

Babies born in the countrysides comprise most of the number of babies being born in China each year, but they are not potential customers for A2M. They would need to go to cities first, climb the social ladder, and then have babies. That last stage is not happening, and the CCP is struggling to find a solution for it.

Covid 19 has brought forward the point of product saturation. The company has essentially matured far quickker than anyone has predicted because of covid-19.

I am struggling to find a way to condense a significant amount of population science into a short piece that people can understand, especially when people are not asking questions at all.
