Last year Dean Foods an American diary giant put in a takeover offer for A2M which was rejected by A2M, in fact a2m had received other offers which were not disclosed. Dean Foods knows very well that A2M has huge potential and growth capability. Once A2M has settled in, A2 will hurt Dean's revenue in USA and UK hence they were hovering around a2m and tried buying A2M out.
