FAR is very positive about A2 in particular but The Gambia more generally. If I understood it correctly, they believe The Gambia River is the depositional source of the oil that has migrated northwards into our Senegalese blocks. Thus, A2 gets us closer to those famed "prolific source rocks". I reckon FAR/CNOOC will bid for more acreage in Gambia.
