No it doesn't lack evidence to prove the theory of A2 protein. The evidence is out there for those who wish to read and understand it. But lactose intolerance is a different issue and has nothing to do with the A1-A2 protein question.

All bovine milk has lactose and the company has always made clear that its milk is not a solution for those with genuine lactose intolerance. Some media journalists don't understand this and continue to write confusing information about A2 milk being a solution for people with lactose intolerance. What the company says is that most people who believe they are lactose intolerant aren't really. Their real problem is with A1 protein, and when they switch to A2 milk their problem is over. Not sure about cats though.
