Just curious how people feel about Blackmores entering the IF...

Just curious how people feel about Blackmores entering the IF market this month.

Yes IF is not all of our range and no they don't have the A2 thing but BKL has a good brand name in both Aust and China. They recently announced they want to have an aggressive growth strategy after last years gains and of course the IF market currently has a huge demand.

Although it has only just started to arrive on shelves and mothers/babies will decide if they like it, I think it would be fair to say that it would be a good quality product and most people would trust the brand.

Short-term I'd suggest negligible effect but past that? If BKL ramp up production in six months or so they have the possibility of being a major player in the Aust IF market.

Also if interested there are some interesting threads on BAL that also compare it against A2M. I think there are too many differences to compare too closely but still worth a look.
