Most dairys unknown to the own run a mixture of cows that produce A1 and A2 milk, all that needs to be done to increase the herd is to test the milk for individual cows, select the A2 cow and separate her. Offer a dairy farmer a slightly better income and everyone will jumping on the bandwagon. Most dairys have a 1% to 2% profit margin I'm sure and offering of 2% extra wouldn't break the bank and will double there profits.
