This is true. According to the NZ Bureau of Statistics, Exports of Main Commodities - Category of Milk Powder, Butter and Cheese. 3 months ended Jan 18, % Change 19.1. 12 months ended Jan 18 % Change 25.1.

Worryingly, however, the data indicates a drop in the value of the export to China of about $20 million NZD.
The website says: Exports to China fell $18 million, compared with January 2017. This is the first fall since the July 2016 month. Values for the year ended January 2018 were still 25 percent higher than the year ended January 2017.

So values are higher but January was a drop???

Obviously, these figures don't include what Australia produces and, the last time I checked, all the A2 IF tins in shops in Oz are made in Australia. So, the daigou market and the Australian export market anre not captured by this information. I tried searching the Oz Bureau of Stats - not successful
