Whitey, do you remember the Scottish independence vote in 2014? I followed that very closely at the time and it had the same vibe, in the last week the Yes (to independence) vote took the lead in the polls, the mood was for change and it looked like it was going to happen. When it came to vote, people got scared and voted for the status quo… I expect the same to happen next week, but you never know. If there is a major sell off, there is plenty of cash on the sidelines looking for a home, i would expect any sharp drop to be short-lived and an opportunity to buy great companies at a discount.
