    OK thank you for clarifying. Makes much more sense to me now. And I agree that the long-term viability of the market depends on changes to the status quo. If a crisis like the current one does not result in changes then nothing will, in which case I'd say the USA IF market is off the table.

    But there is the possibility that companies approved to import during this period are allowed to remain in the market. There is also the possibility that consumer confidence in a company like Abbott is permanently damaged, and that some of these new entrants gain traction. I would share your skepticism, but it is very reasonable (in terms of investment) for A2 to at least try to be in the mix of companies that could benefit from any potential change. USA is the second largest market and as you've pointed out they do need to diversify.

    There's little risk because if things don't change in the USA market longer-term, they won't even be allowed to operate there, let alone waste any money etc..
