    Things that get me thinking.......

Hidden in a local newspaper was this news that Synlaits Talbot Forrest cheese is about to take on 33% more staff. (https://www.stuff.co.nz/timaru-herald/news/118643014/talbot-forest-cheese-to-bump-employee-numbers-up-26)

Current cheese production is around 5,000 tonnes. Or 5,000,000 1kg blocks of cheese. Which is a heck of a lot of cheese for the local market. So they must be looking at ramping up production to 7,000+ tonnes. Much more than the local market can consume. So it must be exported. (Total NZ cheese consumption is around 49,000 tonne - and I don't believe Talbot has 10% market share)

And who best to market cheese - especially when most of Synlaits milk suppliers are a2 herds.

And who could be ripe for an A2M cheese supply. Perhaps America.....https://www.cheeseconnoisseur.com/made-with-a2-milk/

And a bit more on cheese here.... https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=12185965

(Disc - I have stopped at Talbots Geraldine store and tried the cheese. Best described as absolutely yummy!)
