Nobody wins in a trade war. A2 and the stockmarket and the world economy will crash the longer this stupid trade war drags on. The sooner it is resolved the better. And no, a sane person will hope Trump loses in 2020. He has caused so much damage within the US and the rest of the world it ain't funny.
