What drives me if that's the correct term is, my understanding, whether a situation appears believable. When 2+2=5 in my point of view and official explanation seems unbelievable or they hold back evidence then I seek alternate answers.
The problem is that in these modern times anything can be fabricated be it visual, aural or physiological so it's not easy to tell, so it comes back to personal opinion of whether you thing the situation was legitimate.
9/11 still has some questions to be answered and it's not a case of being anti American as some people always suggest.
