I really don't know why they keep buying all these new planes, they are so expensive. Virgin afew years ago bought afew 777's, the older planes are alot cheaper and not all that less fuel economic.
Older boeings in the USA sell for around 10 million such as 767's, why not just use those and keep the debt levels down. Crazy to be buying brand new planes for 250 million etc, I don't understand this dichotomy such as virgin blue, trying to be the cut-throat bargain flight leader, yet buying the lastest and flashiest planes.
Anyway I don't know why anyone bothers to invest in airlines, they always seem to fail and don't make money.
