Yep sure, a rapidly evolving space. Gas turbine powered drones or hybrids, just seem a no brainer to me, especially if the gas turbine is a relatively cheap, more efficient 3D printed one aka an A3D gas turbine.

They are faster, lighter & go further, what's not to like ? Maybe the heat signature is easier to pickup & lock onto, that is the biggest disadvantage I can see.

Here is one that the Russians are using successfully.

Also a new British hybrid one - awesome. I would imagine there are lots in development, with designers, manufacturers etc waiting to see some test results from A3D before committing to try them out.
