Aurora Labs are a new innovative technology company in the space of 3D metal printing.
Located at their Bibra Lake workshop Aurora Labs is seeking an experienced, Welder / Fabricator to work with our team in fabrication of components for ongoing projects.
Our goal is to become the market leader and dominate in our niche sector. With the international expansion of our flagship product, now is a very exciting time for a capable and talented individual to join us.
The company will require a candidate to commit to work daily for a long-term job opportunity. Standard shifts are from 8am – 4:00pm with the ability to be flexible if longer hours are required.

Responsibilities include:

• Working within a production team environment in manufacturing
• Welding and fabricating stainless steel components according to structural drawings
• Assembling fabricated components
• Collaborating with team members to meet production expectations

Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

• Experience in TIG welding with Stainless Steel
• Trade qualification in fabrication/welding with the ability to pass a welding test
• Approximately 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to read an interpret structural drawings
• Pipe fabrication experience is desirable
• Ability to work successfully within a team, autonomously and unsupervised
• Proven commitment to OHS practices and workshop safety
• Physically fit to perform duties required
• Access to reliable transport
• A proven positive work ethic
• An ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
