One would imagine that part of BAE's contract specifies using as much Australian industry/technology as possible ?
After all, much of the current covid stimulus $$$$ going into defence, 'green' energy etc is aimed at stimulating the Australian economy NOT farming it out to say .... ummm ...china !!
If it helps put a world beating, Australian developed, ASX list, 3D metal printing company onto the world stage, then all the better
